We have redesigned our popular pattern, 4 Ever Friends by Toni Whitney. This was one of our very first patterns, and is still a favorite. Most of the original fabrics are no longer available, so we have redesigned it in current fabrics. Hope you like it! Pattern covers are being printed and we will be ready to ship in no time!

COMING SOON!! TWO NEW DESIGNS BY TONI WHITNEY! PLUS CHECK OUT THE FINISHED "WADING GEESE"

"Zirafah" by Toni Whitney

"Zebre" by Toni Whitney.

Here is the finished version of "Wading Geese" by Canadian artist Heather Soos. I wish you could see the water up close....OK Carol did an amazing job of capturing water that is still enough for a reflection, yet has ripples of movement where the feet and beak enter the water....
All three of these patterns are in the final stages of production. Patterns are being proofed and fabric has been ordered. We anticipate that Toni's patterns will be ready by the end of the year, and the Wading Geese will be available in January. We don't have pricing just yet, but we have taken some preorders already. If you want to be among the first to receive these, give us a call at 406-837-2399.

NEW PATTERNS FOR FALL QUILT MARKET!!
Spirit by Toni Whitney
Photography by John Stalowy ProductionsTulips by Brenda Yirsa
Well, I have been away from blogging for awhile....just a bit too much on my plate with the mystery quilt and our move.... Thanks for sticking with us...I'm back in the saddle again!
These are our newest patterns, the ones we will be introducing at Quilt Market in Houston next month. (I have included the eagle, Spirit, which was released between spring and fall quilt markets.) I know that many of you have had sneak previews of these quilts in various stages of completion, but here they are...done! The patterns are being printed, the fabric kits are being cut, we are VERY CLOSE to being able to ship! There are some fabric issues; we are awaiting some key fabrics that may not arrive until mid October. But we are taking preorders now, so if you are interested, hop on to our website for pricing info, www.bigforkbaycottonco.com ....you can order either online or give us a call at 406-837-2399 or 866-245-5718!
If any of you are going to Quilt Market or Quilt Festival next month, please stop by our booth, #662 to say hi! and to view these quilts in person!

"SAFARI PARADE" KIT NOW AVAILABLE
This is my new favorite shop quilt! The pattern is called "Licorice & Latte" by Pam Curo, and was in the Spring/Summer 2008 issue of Quilt Sampler Magazine. Karri Schaper did a wonderful job selecting fabrics from the "Antique Africa" line by Henry Glass, and adapting them to this pattern. Unfortunately, we only have six kits available for sale. The quilt measures approximately 70 1/2" X 70 1/2" and the kit, including fabric for top & binding, magazine, and the revisions we made, costs only $80. I'm going to hold off putting this one on the website since we are so limited in the number of kits we can offer. Give us a call as soon as possible if you would like to purchase one of these. THE EAGLE HAS BEEN NAMED "SPIRIT" !!
Toni has chosen the name "SPIRIT" for her beautiful eagle quilt! Congratulations to Pat Richie, the first person to submit this name. We have decided to award a second prize to Kat Norman, of Quilter's Combo in Alabama, as she was the first of our wholesale customers to submit this name. We are still awaiting the arrival of a few key fabrics, but as soon as they arrive, we will send kits to Pat and Kat. Congratulations!! Thank you to everyone who submitted names....it was a fun contest with a GREAT response from all of you!Friday, June 26, 2009
TRIBAL BEAUTIES
These are the latest patterns in production from Toni Whitney! I just couldn't wait to show you! These haven't even been quilted yet....Imagine how they will come to life when that happens!
They are MONTHS away from being ready.....at least October.....so please don't call to order. (It just kills me to say that!) When we are further down the production road, we will be able to estimate pattern costs and start taking preorders.....You can be sure I'll let you know as soon as that happens.
Notice on the side view of the elephant that the trunk and perhaps the ears will be 3-D.
Up next from Toni.....a Giraffe momma and baby, and a lion.....

Earth, Wind and Fire: All Together Now

Here the version of Toni Whitney's Earth, Wind And Fire with all three horses in one quilt . Once again, the way this pattern is designed a person can make it as above or each of the horses individually.
Earth, Wind And Fire will be shipping at the beginning of next month and is available for preorders.

SPECIAL TREASURES CREATED BY TONI WHITNEY
Thanks to Toni Whitney and OK Carol Rockwell, I had these wonderful treasures to give to my daughters when I was in Rosemont. My younger daughter, Amy, has the yellow lab, Buck, and the chihuahua, Midge. My older daughter, Katie, has the black pit mix, Buddy. They are the sweetest grandbabies! (Of course, I'm looking forward to the two-legged variety of grandchildren, but in the meantime, it's fun to spoil these!)

EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE BY TONI WHITNEY
I'm just busting today! No sooner had I posted Peace and Holly Moose below, than Carol came in with Toni Whitney's new design, Earth, Wind, and Fire. This is the triptych version, with the three horses separated. She is now working in a version where all three horses are in one quilt. The pattern will allow a person to make it either way....or just one horse as a stand alone.

NEW SPRING STORM BY TONI WHITNEY

Here is our new version of Toni Whitney's amazing Spring Storm. As much as we loved the first version, we were forced to recreate the pattern with new fabrics because so many of the earlier fabrics have become unavailable. I hope you like this new version as much as we do! We are cutting kits of this new version now, and there is a very limited supply of the earlier version available. Visit our website, http://www.bigforkbaycottonco.com/ to view the earlier version.
